We are now looking for a Power BI Developer on the behalf of our client.

Join us in shaping the future of a data-driven IKEA!
As a Power BI developer in the team you will design, build, and maintain automated, insight driven dashboards that consolidate performance data across all 11 IKEA franchisees, transforming today’s manual, fragmented reporting into a reliable and centralized analytics ecosystem. Your work will focus on connecting and modeling data from multiple sources to deliver a unified franchise performance evaluation framework that covers 26 criteria. You will need to ensure accuracy, data validation, version control, and auditability, enabling leadership and franchise management teams to access consistent, trustworthy metrics for trends analysis and continuous improvement.
In addition, you will create a scalable dashboard with intuitive visualizations, clear drill downs, and standardized metric definitions, strengthening data accessibility and reducing turnaround time for reporting and decision making. You will need to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in different parts of IKEA to refine KPIs, streamline automated data flows, and ensure alignment with the franchise feedback loop. Your deliverables will empower stakeholders with actionable insights that improve compliance, optimize performance management, and reduce manual effort across the evaluation process, contributing to a more scalable and insight driven franchise ecosystem.
As a Power BI developer you will play a key role in developing CMP data foundation:
We expect candidates to:
Comfortable working in the early phases of solution design and contributing across the entire delivery lifecycle, including ideation, data modeling, requirements analysis, functional design, estimation, sprint planning, development, testing, documentation, deployment, and post‑release support.
Strong understanding of Power BI architecture and best practices, including semantic models, DAX optimization, performance tuning, and report design standards.
Experience adhering to governance, quality guidelines, release procedures, and documentation standards across BI solutions.
Passionate about designing clean, scalable, and maintainable data models and reports, with a strong focus on reusability, performance, and collaborative development practices (e.g., version control and peer reviews).
Skilled in gathering and translating business requirements into technical BI solutions, and comfortable facilitating discussions with stakeholders to clarify data needs, KPIs, and success criteria.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain data models, metrics, and insights to non‑technical stakeholders.
You will work with:
Microsoft Power BI (Power BI Service, Power BI Desktop, DAX, Power Query)
Microsoft Azure, including data sources and services commonly used with Power BI (e.g., Azure SQL, Data Lake)
