In this role, you will work with advanced electrical design for traction and propulsion systems used in modern transportation solutions. You will drive and support technical investigations and collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, testing teams, and suppliers to deliver innovative and reliable products to customers worldwide.

You will be responsible for designing electrical circuit diagrams and creating routine test documentation, defining electrical interfaces, analyzing customer requirements, supporting routine testing activities, and performing harness design. The role also includes planning and coordinating work within this technical area. You will be involved throughout the entire product life cycle – from concept and design to validation, production support, and field support after delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design circuit diagrams and create routine test documentation for traction-related products.

• Plan and lead the work of a small project team of engineers, both onsite and offsite, related to circuit design and test documentation.

• Design electrical harnesses.

• Drive and support technical investigations and design activities.

• Define electrical interfaces.

• Collaborate with and support system engineering, manufacturing engineers, and test engineers.

• Analyze and translate customer requirements into technical solutions.

• Support prototype, pre-series, and series production activities.

• Contribute to bid and tender work by analyzing technical requirements.

• Support colleagues and other functions through technical reviews.
